Panglao Island in Bohol has made it to Skyscanner’s Top 10 Trending Destinations for 2025, the only destination in Philippines to be included in the list.
As seen on Skyscanner, a portal for travelers to compare flights, hotels, and car hire prices, Panglao ranked eighth after seeing an impressive 77% increase in flight searches in the first half of 2024.
Reggio Calabria in Italy took the top spot, earning a 541% increase in flight searches.

Skyscanner also described the island “as emerging as another Asian wellness and wellbeing destination, and a great alternative to more familiar places in Europe.”
