DAGOHOY, Bohol- Santos Abella wished Boholanos a meaningful celebration of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days.

In a message issued on Thursday, October 31, 2022, Abella has encouraged his fellow Boholanos to have a meaningful observation of this year’s Kalag-Kalag break by “attending Mass, offering prayers, and engaging in traditions.”

“As we celebrate All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, may we be inspired by the saints’ example and comforted by the hope of eternal life for ourselves and our loved ones. May the souls of our departed loved ones find eternal peace and rest in the arms of God. As we remember our dearly departed, may their souls be bathed in the divine light of God’s love, ” said Abella.

He said that “All Souls’ Day also reminds us that death is not the end, but a transition to a higher realm.”

“May we take this opportunity to rekindle our commitment to continue to serve the living, cherish the gifts of life and freedom, and strengthen our faith, drawing inspiration from the lives well-lived of those who passed, ” he added.

Abella, a farmer who is a vice gubernatorial aspirant in May 2025, elections will visit the Dagohoy Municipal Cemetery on Friday to pay his respects to his departed loved ones.

The country annually observes All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day every November 1 and 2, respectively.
