With Severe Tropical Storm Krisitine (International Name: Trami) starting to make a landfall in Isabela, the storm signal in Bohol province has been lifted, the state-run weather agency Pagasa said on Wednesday.
But Signal No. 1 remains up over Aklan, Capiz, Antique including Caluya Islands, Iloilo, Guimaras, the northern portion of Negros Occidental (Bago City, Pulupandan, Bacolod City, Murcia, Silay City, City of Talisay, Enrique B. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Kristine has maintained its strength and is about to make a landfall in Isabela.
In its 11p.m. weather bulletin, Pagasa said Kristine was located some 175 kilometers east of Palanan, Isabela, moving northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour (km/h).
