All classes in six campuses at Bohol Island State University (BISU) are suspended beginning Monday, April 8 until further notice as the summer heat became risky for teachers and students to go out.
BISU President Anthony Penaso on Thursday issued a memorandum, directing
all campuses to cancel all classes until further notice.
“This decision has been made to mitigate the risks associated with the prevailing conditions,” Penaso said in his memorandum.
BISU has six campuses are in Tagbilaran City (main campus), Balilihan, Calape, Clarin, Candijay and Bilar.
There will be work-from-home (WFH) arrangement and skeletal workforce setup for administrative offices.
