Malacañang on Friday said there will be no holiday declaration for January 2, 2024.
Asked by reporters if Palace will have an additional holiday declaration, Presidential Communications Office Secretary Cheloy Garafil said there was none.
“Wala po,” Garafil said.
It will not be the same case as Dec. 26, which Marcos declared as a special non-working holiday to “give the people the full opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their families and loved ones.”
Meanwhile, Dec. 30, 31, and Jan. 1 are declared holidays.
