Authorities have arrested an alleged high value individual and seized suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1-million in an anti-drug operation in Panglao town, Bohol on Monday night, Nov. 6.
Cyrus John Bongolto Batugan, 18, a resident of Barangay Tawala in Panglao, Bohol, was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Purok 3, Brgy. Tawala, Panglao, at past 8:40 p.m. on Monday.
He was arrested after he conspired to sell and handed over the illegal drug to an undercover government agent posing as a buyer.
Seized from Batugan were about 150 grams of suspected shabu packed in transparent plastic packs.
The Panglao Drug Enforcement Unit launched the operation after putting the suspect under surveillance.
A case for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, is being readied against the suspect.
