Former board member Frans Garcia was proclaimed as the new barangay chairman in Barangay Tugas, Pres. Carlos P. Garcia.
“Among dakong pasalamat sa tanang na ning salig namo! It is time to work all together & build a progressive barangay,” she said in her Facebook account.
Four of her councilors and SK chairman also won.
According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), most of barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials are expected to assume office right after their proclamation on Oct. 30.
