A 14-hour power blackout will affect residents of whole Bohol Sunday, Oct. 1.
The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said the blackout is due to several maintenance works.
NGCP will conduct works for its Maasin-Ubay 138-kilovolt line.
The province will be affected by the 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. blackout.
Senator Nancy Binay on Wednesday said he she was mad at the sight of resorts built within the protected Chocolate Hills in Bohol province.
The Philippine Coast Guard has temporarily suspended sea travel to and from Bohol due to Tropical Depression Basyang, which prompted the hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 in parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
