A concerned citizen found a floating body in Baluarte in Baclayon town Wednesday morning, June 28.
The dead person was identified as Paul Jumang-it Pamad, 59, a resident of Purok 6, Poblacion, Baclayon, Bohol.
According to a report from Baclayon Police Station, they received a cellular phone call from Manuel Fernandez, 78, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Baclayon, Bohol.
Fernandez informed the police that he discovered a cadaver floating in the sea while he was jogging along the Baluarte area at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
At first, Fernandez thought it was a dead dog but later realized it was a dead man.
Police said the Municipal Health Office said “the cause of death is traumatic brain injury or drowning.”
