Gov. Aris Aumentado condemned the killing of a foreigner in Panglao town and directed the police to identify and arrest the perpetrators of the crime.
Kristian Laurssen, a Danish National, a resident of Barangay Danao in Panglao town was shot dead by unknown suspect on Tuesday afternoon.
“Atong kusganong gikondenar ang nahitabong pagpamusil sa usa ka foreigner didto sa Barangay Danao, Lungsod sa Panglao karong adlawa. Dili makataronganon nga adunay mahitabo ngadto sa bisan kinsa,” Aumentado said in a statement.
He called on police to leave no stone unturned to find Laurssen’s killer.
“Kanunayong naningkamot ang inyong Kagamhanang Probinsyal na ma-ampingan ang kinabuhi sa mga lumulupyo ug mga bisita sa lalawigan ug magpabilin ang kalinaw ug kahapsay sa Bohol,” Aumentado added.
According to the Panglao police,
Laurssen was riding his Honda XRM motorcycle to Alona in Barangay Tawala in Panglao when he was shot by unidentified assailants near Purok 3, Barangay Danao.
Lauden succumbed to a gunshot wound in the head.
He was brought to Governor Celestino Gallares Medical Center in Tagbilaran City where he was declared dead on arrival by his attending physician.
One piece of cal. 45 empty shell was recovered at the crime scene..
Police are still investigating the incident.
