Dauis police seized a suspected shabu worth over P1. 8 million in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mariveles in Dauis town on Sunday, May 21.
The suspect was identified as Frederick Pamatong Madriñan, 51, a resident of Tagbilaran City.
He is a licensed veterinarian who is currently employed at Office of Bohol Provincial Veterinarian.
He was nabbed before midnight in Purok 4 in Barangay Mariveles in Dauis town.
Seized from the suspect were packs of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 275 grams with an estimated street value of P1. 8 million.
Dauis police said Madriñan is a high value individual (HVI).
Charges for violation of Sections 5, 11, and 26, Article II, of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect.
