Bohol Gov. Aris Aumentado has ordered the suspension of all classes in Bohol on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 14, to ensure the safety of students amidst continuous heavy rainfall.

However, some mayors of Bohol had issued orders suspending classes for the whole day Tuesday.

As of 2 p.m., the state weather bureau had placed Bohol under red rainfall warning. The “red” warning, which has more than 30 mm of rainfall, signals flooding in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous areas.
