Forced evacuation in Loboc as river reaches critical level

The Loboc government on Thursday, Jan. 12, raised critical level over the Loboc River amid heavy rains caused by low pressure area and shear line.

As of 2 a.m., the Municipality of Loboc said the water level at Loboc River went the critical level or at least 100 meters above sea level calls for “forced evacuation.”

Mayor Raymond Jala in his Facebook post post said that some residents were evacuated in Barangay Valladolid which is near the river bank.
