No classes in Valencia town due to heavy rains

The local government of Valencia announced the suspension of classes in all levels in public and private schools on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, after Bohol was placed under yellow rainfall warning due a low pressure area and the shear line that trigger rainfall.

Heavy downpour were reported in villages since last night.

“With the reported heavy downpour in the mountain barangays of our beloved municipality and by virtue of the authority vested in me as the town’s LCE, i hereby declare the suspension of classses at all levels within the jurisdiction of the districtof Valencia,” Mayor Neil Balite said in a Facebook post.
