A motorist escaped serious injury or even death when boulders fell as he passed by along the national road in Barangay Cayam in Garcia Hernandez town when a landslide occured.
Joshua Gallendez, 28, said he saw
rocks and debris cascading down the mountain on Sunday noon.
Residents said heavy rains have resulted in landslide that made a road impassable.
According to village officials, no one was reportedly hurt.
On Tuesday, clearing operations were conducted by the personnel from DPWH-3rd District since the land continued to move.
