President BongBong Marcos has tapped
former San Miguel Mayor Virgilio “Dodong” Mendez as assistant secretary of Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Malacañang announced on Thursday, Nov. 17.
Marcos signed Mendez’s appointment paper on Nov. 11 but the info was released on Nov. 17.
Prior to his new stint, Mendez served as mayor of San Miguel town. He became national director of the National Bureau of Investigation.
