Puregold Price Club, Inc. is making an aggressive push to expand outside Luzon as it sets to open soon its new branch in Bohol.
Lalette Alea, acquisition manager, said Puregold will rise first at Ubay town.
“We’ve been looking to expand in Bohol for years now. We’re just looking for the perfect location,” said Alea during her courtesy call to Gov. Aris Aumentado on Monday morning, Oct. 10, at the provincial Capitol.
Alea thanked Aumentado for his support, saying” Puregold will not be here if not of Gov. Aumentado.”
She said Puregold will open as much they can in Bohol, known as a booming tourist destination in the country.
Aumentado said new stores will also create employment opportunities and stir the local economy as a whole.
Earlier reports said Puregold is aiming to establish eight stores – Ubay, Jagna, Talibon, Tubigon, Carmen, Loay, Panglao and Tagbilaran City.
