Cherie Jane Cirunay and Jan Ashley Gementiza, of health and legislative sectors, respectively, took home the crowns as Mr. and Ms. PGBh 2022 (Provincial Government of Bohol) during the coronation night held at Bohol Cultural Center on September 28, 2022.
The pageant is part of the PGBh led by Gov. Aris Aumentado in joining the nationwide 122nd Civil Service celebration on Septemer 19, 2022.
Earlier on, the governor assisted by chief of staff Atty. Glen Anino and provincial administrator Aster Caberte in honoring 37 retirees, who were conferred with plaque of recognition and ring as token of their more than 15 years of publci service.
Consistent with the theme, “Transforming public service in the next decade: Honing agile and future-ready seervan-heroes,” the governor said, “it is a time to reflect and strengthen our commitment to serve.”
First runner-up went to Dr. Elizalde P. Sajulga (health) and Sarah Mae Balite (legislative) and second RU were Anthony G. Pstrofide and Joanne Mendez Pinat ( both economic).
Jeffrey N. Torralba and Stephanie G. Gesite (both of finance); Alexies Cacho (Infra) and Anacel A. gultia (both infra); Gabriel F. Torreon and Maraya Angela B. Solera (Dev-Ad); and Jaypee Ian Morgia and Maria Berlin Algusar (social) got the consolation prizes.
Gementiza and Balite were also adjudged as Best in Production Number. And they both got the Best in Sports Wear.
Pastrofide and Pinat grabbed the Best in Talent plum; Sajulga and Cirunay, Best in Formal Wear and best Gown, respetively; and Torralba, Darling of the (male) and Gesite, Darlng of the Crowd (female). (rvo)
