Buenavista Mayor Dave Duallo was elected as the new president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) Bohol Chapter on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022.
The votes were unanimous for Duallo who run unopposed during the LMP Bohol’s general assembly at a resort in Panglao.
Aside from Duallo, LMP Bohol’s newly elected executive vice president was President Carlos P. Garcia Mayor Fernando Estavilla.
Duallo and Estavilla agreed for a term sharing.
In Bohol province, colorful motorcades and blaring sound systems marked the start of the campaign period for local candidates.
Vice President Sara Duterte has tendered her resignation as Department of Education secretary, said the Palace on Wednesday.
