The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board VII published Wage Order No. ROVII-23 on May 29, 2022, granting P31 wage increase resulting to the following new minimum wage rates:

1.) P435 for non-agriculture and P425 for agriculture and non-agriculture establishments with less than 10 workers for the cities of Carcar, Cebu, Danao, Lapu-lapu, Mandaue, Naga, Talisay and municipalities of Compostela, Consolacion, Cordova, Liloan, Minglanilla, San Fernando or Expanded Metro Cebu

2.) P397 for non-agriculture and P392 for agriculture and non-agriculture establishments with less than 10 workers for other cities (Bais, Bayawan, Bogo, Canlaon, Dumaguete, Guihulngan, Tagbilaran, Tanjay and Toledo)

3.) P387 for non-agriculture and P382 for agriculture and non-agriculture establishments with less than 10 workers for other municipalities.

The new Wage Order would take effect on June 14, 2022 and is expected to protect around 215,684 minimum wage earners in Central Visayas.
