The Alyansang Bol-anon Alang sa Kausaban (Abaka) on Monday issued a statement denying unverified reports of the Bohol grand rally of former Senator Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara “Inday” Duterte.
“There are unverified reports circulating about the Bohol rally of Sen. Bongbong Marcos and Mayor Sara Duterte on the first week of April,” the statement said.
It added, “There has been no official communication received regarding this event up to this time.”
Abaka said considering the hectic schedule of both the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates, the exact dates and venues for their rallies are the exclusive prerogatives of the Uniteam national organizers.
Abaka asked media reporters and news agencies to exercise prudence in publishing reports based on unofficial sources.
“We understand the eagerness of the Boholano supporters to be part of the said activity. We have been given the assurance that the Uniteam candidates will be coming at a date that will be officially announced later,” the statement said.
Cyl Bomediano, provincial coordinator of BBM Movement in Bohol, posted that there was no fix date for the BBM- Sara grand rally.
