The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tagbilaran passed a resolution expressing their deepest sympathies and condolences to the family and relatives of the late Alfredo Angalot, chief of Barangay Bool.

Angalot passed away on January 19, 2022 due to kidney failure at the Ace Medical Center.

Jose Floro B. Ringca was the proponent of the said resolution.

It stated that Angalot had served with great passion and commitment several government agencies and made remarkable achievements.

He has made a mark in public service as Punong Barangay of Barangay Bool from 2018 until his passing, and as Barangay Kagawad for terms from 2007-2018.

“Tata” as friends and family called him, was well recognized for his leadership and dedication to community service, uplifting the lives of countless people , especially those of his barangay constituents, and as such, he will be remembered for his inspiring legacy of integrity, generosity and selfless service, worthy of emulation and recognition.

He has been succeeded by Punong Barangay Joel B. Ibao.

His remains lies in state at his family residence in Pilayre St., Bool District, Tagbilaran City.

He will be laid to rest at the Victoria Memorial Park, Taloto District, Tagbilaran City on Sunday, January 23, 2022.

A requiem mass will be held at St. Vincent Ferrer Parish Church at 9 a.m. on said date.
