The 100-man delegation from Davao City Central 911 has finally arrived in Davao City after a week of medical, rescue, and clearing operations in Bohol.
Their friends and colleagues warmly welcomed the team on Monday night, December 27, 2021.
Last December 19, 2021, the City Government of Davao led by City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte has send-off personnel from the City Health Office, Davao City Central 911’s Emergency Medical Sevices (EMS), Uban Search and Rescue (USAR), Fire Auxiliary Services (FAS), Southern Philippines Medical Center doctors, and City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) to help in the relief and rescue operations affected by Typhoon Odette in Bohol.
Bohol 2nd District Rep. Erico Aristotle Aumentado personally welcomed the rescue team who arrived at Bohol-Panglao International Airport at 9 a. m. via chartered flight of Philippine Airlines.
“The first contingent to help the Boholanos is the Central 911 from Davao City,” said Aumentado who personally asked Duterte for help. With a report from Helen Castano
