Dan Lim files COC for mayor

Former Tagbilaran City Mayor Dan Lim formalized his mayoral bid in the May 2022 polls on Monday, Nov. 15.

Lim filed his certificate on candidacy (COC) for mayor before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Tagbilaran. He was accompanied by lawyers Dodi Piquero and
Bryan Pelandas.

Lim replaced his son Dan Ismael who withdrew his COC and run for city councilor instead.

Three of the six councilors of Lim also filed their COCs on the last day of the filing of substitution.

They were former Barangay Manga Captain and incumbent councilor Lheda Elas Saco who substituted Sol Calimbayan, former Booy Captain and incumbent councilor Jun Telmo who replaced Renante Galolo and
Poblacion 1 Barangay Captain Arlene Pondoc-Karaan who replaced her husband Lino.

Lim became mayor of Tagbilaran from 2004 up to 2013.

He will fight against Vice Mayor Jose Antonio Veloso, Councilor Vicente Polinar and Jane Yap.
