Educator and entrepreneur Leah Tirol withdrew her candidacy for Bohol’s first district board member in the 2022 elections.
Tirol personally withdrew her certificate of candidacy (COC) on Wednesday morning, November 10, at the provincial Commission on Elections (Comelec) office.
“Kay ning withdraw man si Inday Sara, ning withdraw pud si Inday Leah,” Tirol said on a Facebook post.
She added, “Thank you to my beloved supporters. Sa sunod pohon nalang ta ha… take care and God bless everyone.”
Tirol, who is known as Bohol’s Baking Mama, did not provide further details.
The Comelec has set the November 15 deadline for political parties to replace or make substitutions of their candidates until November 15.
