Police rescues families as flooding hits Calape

Personnel of the Calape Police Station rescued seven stranded families in Calape due to flooding caused by tropical depression Lannie on Monday, Oct. 4.

Calape police said seven families were rescued in Sitio Bangi in Barangay Lucob at 9 a.m. after the water level rose.

The residents were brought to the evacuation center.

In Tagbilaran City, floods hit parts of the city after a heavy downpour. It turjed Lamdagan Street to a “river”. A similar scene also transpired in several streets in the city.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) placed Bohol under storm signal no. 1.
