A 30-year-old woman, Jobel Tabaranza, was caught with five grams of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation conducted by
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-7 and Tagbilaran City Police Station.
Tabaranza was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 12 at 3:30 p. m. in Purok 7, Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City.
According to Leia Albiar, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas spokesperson, Tabaranza was a suspected target-listed individual for illegal drugs of PDEA-7.
She said that the suspected shabu confiscated from Taberanza had an estimated market value of P34,000.
The suspect is temporarily detained at the Tagbilaran City Police Station, and a case for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 will be filed against her.
