Senator Christopher ‘’Bong’’ Go on Friday, July 9 said that he is not interested in running for a higher position in the 2022 national elections.
“Dili ko interesado mudagan sa pagka- presidente,” said Go who was in Dauis town on Friday to attend the release of financial assistance to the beneficiaries of emergency housing assistance program at the town’s gymanasium.
Earlier, Go attended the giving of certificate of awards to 100 beneficiaries of AFP/PNP Housing in Barangay Songculan still in Dauis.

“I leave my faith to God, I leave my faith to the Dutertes kung unsa ilang mahimung decision, and I leave my faith to the Filipino people kay sila man nagbutang nako diri utang kabubut-on nako diri. Basta ako magserbisyo rako ninyo dili nako pasagdan ang Pilipino. Bisan asa mo tumoy sa Pilipinas adtuon tika mo basta kaya sa akong lawas,” said Go.
He said he is tired but he needs to work for the benefit of the Filipino people.
Go said the work of a President is very demanding and strength-sapping.
“Kay tungod kahibalo ko, kita ko sa lisud sa trabaho sa usa ka presidente. Lisud kayo. Kay perting kapuya na gyud. Luya na intawon ko. Ayaw nako apila,” he added.
But Go said he will support Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte if she will run for president.
