P1.5 million ‘shabu’ seized in Calape

Some P1.5 million worth of suspected shabu was confiscated during a buy-bust operation in Calape town, authorities confirmed Thursday.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bohol, Regional Special Operations Group in Central Visayas (RSOG-7), Calape Police Station and 1st District Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) arresed Isagani Dela Cruz alias “Gani” and Raffy Gaviola alias “Yuppy”.

The buy-bust operation was conducted at
4:30 p.m. on April 15, 2020 at Purok Nangka, Barangay Magtongtong in Calape town.

Operatives seized 10 packs of suspected shabu which weigjed 225 grams with an estimated street value of P1,530,000.00 haul in the suspects’ house.

The suspects who were originally from Talisay City, Cebu denied the allegations.

The suspects have been transferred to Tagbilaran Police Station and will be charged with violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
