There are two low pressure areas (LPAs) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), announced the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Sunday, July 4.
The state weather bureau said the two LPAs may develop into storms in the coming days and will continue to dampen the country.

Pagasa said the two LPAs will cause cloudy skies and rain due to thunderstorms in all parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Pagasa as of 10:37 a.m. announced that the LPA located east of Eastern Samar has developed into Tropical Depression “Emong” which was last spotted east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
Meanwhile, the other LPA was last estimated 120 km east of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
