Panglao gov’t will close Alona Beach for 15 days

The municipal government of Panglao announced Wednesday that it plans to close Alona Beach for 15 days.

The entire stretch of Alona Beach shall be closed to beach goers and picknickers from July 1 to 15, 2021.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the Mines and Geosciences Bureau will conduct some scientific procedures in the area.

Panglao will open the beach for public use after the department will complete the proedures.
