Bohol’s daily count of cases of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) has recorded 217 fresh infections in the last 24 hours, the dashboard showed.
The active cases reached 1,529 that took the infection tally to 6,934.
There were 3 persons succumbed to the viral disease during this period, taking the related death toll to 78.
Believe it or not, a year and half a month after Bohol took drastic measures against the spread of the corona virus disease (Covid-19) by closing its borders to stop the disease from getting in, 28 Boholano lives have been lost, and eleven of them in 2021.
At least 32 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) in Bohol have been transported back to their hometowns in Siquijor on Wednesday, June 17.
Bohol is now allowing the entry of tourists and authorized persons outside residents (APOR) who have negative results for Covid-19 via the cheaper and quicker saliva test, the provincial government said.
