Former youth leader Benjie Oliva on Thursday condoled with the Aquino family over the passing of former president Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III who died on Thursday morning.
“My prayers and deepest condolences to the Aquino family. Let me take this opportunity to Thank You Mr. President and your administration of the huge financial assistance for Bohol’s economic recovery after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake devasted our beloved province in 2013, ” Oliva said in a statement Thursday.
Oliva said the P2.4 billion Bohol Earthquake Assistance Fund was instrumental for the reconstruction of new Roads, barangay and municipal Halls, public markets, water systems, bridges and even the centuries-old churches in the province.
He also thanked the former president for appointing him as the youngest and only administrator of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA).

“And thank you also for the trust and confidence in appointing me as the youngest Administrator of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) last March 19, 2015. Thank you for your great service to our country,” said Oliva who was also a former commissioner of the National Youth Commission.
