To help boost the recovery of the tourism industry and highlight the importance of vaccination to fight against the on-going pandemic, the five-star resort in Bohol – The Bellevue Resort–is stepping up its support for the government’s vaccination campaign by urging its employees and industry members to get vaccinated.

The Bellevue Resort – Bohol hosted last Friday, June 18, the country’s first vaccination drive for tourism frontline workers led by Governor Art Yap together with the Department of Health and the tourism industry stakeholders at the resort’s Pavilion.

The event was gearing for the province’s green zone concept for Panglao island to trailblaze gradual reopening of international tourism.

Stringent safety procedures and sanitation protocols were installed in the Pavilion as vaccination site.

The vaccines were allocated through the Department of Tourism under Sec. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat and approved by vaccine czar Carlito Galvez and testing czar Vince Dizon.
