Former senator and presidential aspirant Ferdinand Marcos Jr., and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, won by huge margins against their respective rivals in Bohol province.
A total of 837,470 actually voted out of 949,791 registeres voters from 48 localities in Bohol province casted their ballots last Monday, May 9.
Based on the same Comelec-Bohol data, Marcos garnered 501,637 votes.
Marcos’ running mate, Duterte, also topped the vice presidential race with 594,024 votes.
Marcos leads a wide margin over his rival, Vice President Leni Robredo who garnered 141,018 in the entire island province.
Robredo was followed by Sen. Manny Pacquiao with 88,938 votes. Manila Mayor Isko Moreno ranked fourth with 27,334 votes while Sen. Ping Lacson on the fifth place with 13,058 votes.
She won by just 283, 589 votes against her rival, former Senator Ferdinand “BongBong” Marcos Jr who had 79,729 votes.
Duterte is followed by Senator Kiko Pangilinan with 75,125 votes, Senator Tito Sotto who had 59,894 votes, Doc Willie Ong with 13,644 votes and Lito Atienza with 4,820.
Bohol is the 20th vote-rich province.
