A drug suspect was nabbed and P510,000 worth of shabu was seized after the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bohol and Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran Wednesday night.

PDEA-Bohol identified the suspect as
Franklin Solijon Rollinas, 30, and a resident of Barangay Tip-Tip, Tagbilaran City.

Based on PDEA report, the buy-bust operation was led by the PDEA Bohol Provincial Office under the direct supervision of Joseph Theodore Atila, in coordination with PNP’s Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 7 under supervision of Major Glenn Hife, Bohol Maritime Police Station led by Major Jose Los BaÑos; Tagbilaran City Police Station led by Col. Mary Crystal Peralta and Bohol Police Provincial Office’s Provincial. Intelligence Unit led by Lt. Bonifacio TaÑola, at around 6:45 p.m.

An undercover police officer acted as a poseur buyer and bought a shabu which then led to the arrest of the suspect.

Retrieved from them were 75 grams of shabu valued at P510,000, buy-bust money and other non-drug evidence.

Rollinas will be charged with violations of R.A. 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2012.
