Police are searching for the gunmen who shot and killed a collector in Tagbilaran City Saturday night.

The Tagbilaran Police identified the victim as Clark Mier, 32, a collector of Du Ek Sam.

The shooting happened at about 9 p.m. on Feb. 27 along CPG Avenue.

Mier was riding his motorcycle and was heading home after playing basketball in Barangay Cogon when two men on a motorcycle shot him.

The suspects then fled. Police recovered eight empty shells from the crime scene.

Investigators have yet to identify the suspects as well as establish the motive behind the shooting.

Mier’s death is the 6th in Bohol province and 2nd in Tagbilaran killed within 15 days.
