In almost any occasion in the country, lechon is a must. It is the star during fiestas, Christmas and other major celebrations. Famous chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain had rated our lechon the best in the world.

And what’s Christmas and New Year without the famous inasal/lechon (roasted suckling pig)?

Barangay Manga in Tagbilaran City is the lechon capital of Bohol. There are at least 10 lechon shops here. Lechon lovers trek to this barangay for its crunchy and tastiest lechon.

Lechon sellers here are still accepting orders for the media noche on Dec. 31.
