Police arrested two alleged notorious shabu (crystal meth) peddlers in a buy-bust operation in this city on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 02, 2020.

Anti-illegal drug operatives nabbed Eduardo Galab, 33, and Franny Blazo, 34, all residents of V.P Inting Street in Barangay Poblacion 1 in Tagbilaran City, after they sold shabu to an undercover police officer who posed as the buyer in the bust in Barangay Poblacion 1 at 5:40 p.m.

The suspects yielded 30 grams of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P204,000.

They are now detained at Tagbilaran City police detention facility as charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being readied against him.

Lt. Col. Mary Crystal Bunao Peralta, chief of Tagbilaran Police said the evil effects of illegal drugs target the most vulnerable people in our society.

“These are our children and the marginalized people who can be easily persuaded by these menace of our country. To our operating troops congratulations for a job well done and always be reminded that we owe a safe place to live and work to the people we oath to serve and protect, ” Peralta said.
