2 alleged drug pushers nabbed in Panglao

Two suspected drug pushers were arrested in Panglao on Wednesday night, Dec. 2, 2020.

A report from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bohol on Thursday named the suspects Rex Jesson Amila Bumaat, 27, a resident of 96 VP Inting Street, Tagbilaran City and Abundio Estorgio Membreve, 49, a resident of Barangay Catigbian in Buenavista town.

They were nabbed after they sold shabu (crystal meth) in a plastic sachet to an undercover agent in a transaction in Barangay Tawala in Panglao at around 10:30 p. m. Wednesday.

Confiscated during the operation were seven sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 35 grams worth P238,000, buy bust money and two units cellular phone.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
