The local government unit of Tagbilaran City has reported a total of 24 new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Thursday (November 26, 2020).

Mayor John Geesnell “Baba” Yap, in a Facebook post, said the new patients include seven persons scheduled to travel outside Bohol (outgoing), seven locals who were stranded, one with Influenza-like Illness (ILI), three overseas Filipino workers, four Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR), one Returning Overseas Filipino (ROF) and one admitted in a hospital.

Yap said the outgoing, ILI and admitted in the hospital got infected due to local transmission.

He said their houses would be placed on lockdown to contain the virus.

Yap added the other 22 patients were asymptomatic.

“Padayon ang Tagbilaran COVID Taskforce sa pag monitor and implement ug health and safety measures para sa kaayohan sa tanan. Dli ta mu kompyansa ug mu cooperate ta pinaagi sa pag sunod sa mga gi implement nato nga mga protocols,” his statement concluded.
