Police filed a frustrated homicide case against the 65-year-old man who stabbed his nephew using a 15-inch bolo in San Miguel town.
Police Chief Master Sergeant Manuel Tupos of San Miguel Police Station said Jobert Artiaga, 30, a resident of Barangay Corazon, San Miguel was stabbed by his uncle identified as Gil Artiaga, 65.
The incident happened at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Both got into a heated argument after Jobert allegedly forced his uncle to drink while at their residence in Barangay Corazon.
This prompted Gil to grab his bolo and stabbed Jobert.
Due to the injuries, the victim was rushed over to San Miguel Hospital for immediate treatment.
However, he was later transferred to a hospital in the city.
