A high-value target (HVT) was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday afternoon at Caingget Beach in Barangay Booy, Tagbilaran City.
At 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, police arrested the subject Calixto Renegado Peñaflor, 35, a resident of Barangay Taloto, Tagbilaran City, who was known to be an HVT at the provincial level for selling illegal drugs.
Personnel of the Tagbilaran City Police Station headed by Police Lt. Col. Oscar Boyles conducted the transaction against Peñaflor that turned out to be successful.
The police seized nine small sachets and one medium packs of suspected shabu.
The confiscated evidence weighed 6 grams with an estimated value of P40,800.
Peñaflor is now detained pending the filing of the case for violation of Section 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 and R.A. 10591.
