A teenager died while his companion was seriously injured after their vehicle fell into an irrigation dam in Barangay Bayongan in San Miguel on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020.
San Miguel Police said the incident happened at 10:30 a. m.
The fatality was a year-old man, while injured was a 30-year-old woman, both from Barangay Bulilis in Ubay town.
Police Senior Master Sergeant Anecito Lacierda Jr. of San Miguel Police Station said they practised driving when suddenly their multicab collided with railings of the dam, then fell about 20 meters deep.
The teenager died instantly while the woman was rushed to San Miguel hospital after sustaining multiple injuries.
