Two brothers who allegedly yielded around P34, 000 worth of suspected crystal meth, locally known as shabu, were arrested in a buy-bust in Barangay Booy in Tagbilaran City.

Lt Col. Mary Crystal Bunao Peralta, chief of Tagbilaran City Police Station, identified the suspects as brothers Edu Daclisan Chatto, 25, and Edwin Daclisan Chatto, 27, both residents of Graham Avenue, Purok 3, Barangay Booy, Tagbilaran City.

Peralta said the Chatto brothers are street level individuals and included in the police watch-list.

They were netted by operatives in an operation at about 5:20 p.m. Thursday, September 10.

The joint anti-illegal drug operation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of Tagbilaran City Police Station,
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Bohol and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Bohol.

“This operation will surely save many lives and families. Our children should be protected against this evil and we should continue our campaign against all forms of illegal drugs,” said Peralta.

“We should jointly intensify our campaign on social media to educate our people on its ill effects and to reduce the demand,” she added.
