A watcher of a Covid-19 positive who was admitted at Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital in Tagbilaran City reportedly roamed outside hospital premises apparently unaware that he too was positive of the virus.
Tagbilaran City Mayor Baba Yap on Saturday cautioned constituents that based on continuing contact tracing efforts, it was learned that the watcher ate at the carenderias near GCGMH on August 19 and 20.
He also tried to enter a nearby mall, but luckily the establishment was yet to open.
The local executive said carenderias will be closed for quarantine and the staff members will be swabbed for polymerase chain reaction or PCR test.
He then urged those who were present in the area during those days to immediately contact 09616189368 or 09959500381 to be interviewed and included in the tracing.
