Bohol records 6th Covid-19 death

Bohol province has recorded another fatality due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

In his Facebook post on Monday morning, Governor Arthur Yap reported that the patient, a resident from Guindacpan Island in Talibon town died Sunday, August. 16. He tested positive for the disease and was confined at Garcia Memorial Provincial Hospital last August 12.

The patient had diabetes mellitus type 2.

Yap said the patient had no travel history, not a locally stranded individual and not an overseas Filipino worker (OFW).

As of August 17, Bohol has 123 confirmed Covid-19 cases with 91 recoveries and 26 active cases and 6 deaths.
