Boholana actress Rich Asuncion is now living with her family in Australia, trading her glitz and glamor life as an actress for a simpler one.

On Instagram, Rich posted a photo of a bicycle on a bridge and on the caption, turned reflective.

She happily shared that she’s just gotten her first pay check in her new job, as a waitress.

Rich said how important the job is to her.

She admitted it wasn’t easy to “accept” this transition in her career.

At wala akong karapatan maginarte kasi nabigyan ako panibagong chance to start anew.

“My point here is, I know most of us will need to adjust to a new/different life after this pandemic. And that’s not all that bad. To be able to survive through this is already a blessing. As hard as it may seem, look for the silver lining. Hold on and say I am still a champion.”

She reminded people who are experiencing the same thing to just be grateful as some people have lost or sacrificed more than they do.

“Sa ngayon ay tanggap ko na at masaya na ko sa bago kong buhay kasama ang aking pamilya,” she said. “Nakapag-enrol na rin ako to continue my studies and last week, I was offered a full-time job at a Daycare where I can work closely with Bela (her daughter).”

Rich announced she and her husband, Rugby player Ben Mudie, have put down a reservation for their future home in Australia.

“What a blessing!” her post ended.
