TAGBILARAN CITY- A returning locally stranded individual (LSI) is the latest Covid-19 case in the province.
Governor Arthur Yap announced on Tuesday night, June 16, that an LSI from Tagbilaran City tested positive in polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test.
The confirmed case was among the LSIs who returned to Bohol on June 6 from Cebu City.
However, the patient is asymptomatic.
“Maski ug wala siya’y gibati nga simtomas, nagpabilin siya nga naka-isolate pagka-karon. Nagsugod na pud ang contact tracing,” Yap said.
Yap said 1, 613 returning Boholanos havd already returned home after they finished the 14-day quarantine.
At least 2, 573 are undergoing their quarantine.
” We are managing and watching the situation very carefully,” said Yap who asked residents to observe and follow health protocols.
In Bohol, there are 15 positive cases- 7 active cases, 7 recoveries and 1 death.
