Bohol coronavirus cases reach 15

The province of Bohol has recorded a total 15 novel coronavirus cases as of Tuesday afternoon, June 16, with Governor Art Yap reporting one new confirmed case of infection.

The provincial government FB page reported 15 confirmed cases- 7 active cases, 7 recoveries and one death.

The seven active cases are the three LSIs from Tagbilaran, one LSI from Candijay, one LSI from Sagbayan and two health workers from a private hospital.

The seven recovered patients were a Chinese woman, three health workers from Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital and the 65-year-old woman from Barangay Dao, Tagbilaran.

One fatality was the 89-year-old man from Calape town.

President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday morning placed Bohol in general community quarantine (GCQ).

Governor Art Yap urged residents to heed the restrictions that come with GCQ, which will last until June 30.
